Special Interest Groups

The DC alumnae chapter offers groups for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Below is a list of special interest groups and their activities.  If you are interested in joining any of the groups below, make sure to e-mail the SIG coordinator and they will add you to their announcements list. Check out the WDC DG calendar of events to find the next SIG event. If you would like to start your own group, please contact  the SIG director at sigdirector@wdcdeltagamma.org.

Book Club

This isn’t your ordinary book club.  For those of you who love to read but prefer to make your own choices, join us for the Delta Gamma Book Club.  Each member is asked to bring a book they have Read, Enjoyed and are willing to Lend.  The group then meets over food and drink to discuss member’s submissions.  At the end of the night you will leave with a book in hand and be ready to come back for more!  For further information, please contact Lindsey at bookclub@wdcdeltagamma.org.

DG Dineout

Meet, greet, eat and review cuisine in metro area restaurants, both old and new with DG Dineout. Contact Tracey at dineout@wdcdeltagamma.org for ideas, suggestions or questions!

DGs in DC

What better place to be than DC?  DGs in DC! Take advantage of all that the metro area has to offer – from museums to monuments, baseball games to boat rides, theater productions to ghost tours, DGs in DC! venture out every six weeks or so to sample the city. DG Sweet Peas

Lunch Bunch

The WDC Lunch Bunch is a casual, social and informational luncheon connecting local Delta Gamma women and giving us the opportunity to rededicate ourselves to the Fraternity. Contact lunchbunch@wdcdeltagamma.org for ideas, suggestions or questions!

Wine Tasting

Don’t know a thing about wine? Know a little but want to learn more?  Know a lot but want to team up to taste the best wine possible? Wine Tastings cover the basics, such as what are tannins and acids, to more advanced information like what do you serve with squab!  Past tastings have covered an assortment of regions and varieties around the world.  The group has also paired wine and cheese.  For more information, please contact Meredith at wt@wdcdeltagamma.org.

Moms Night Out

Join fellow DG mothers for an evening on the town.
